Tight tummy?

Hey guys,

In the afternoons and at the end of each day, my tummy is really tight. It's not sore (except when I get the round ligament pain) but is just really uncomfortable. I'm thinking it's a mixture of BH's, bloating and the occasional bout of constipation.

Is this right and does anyone else get this?

I remember getting it with both pregnancies. Sounds normal to me.

I have similar, but no real pattern to it. I definitely think I get the odd BH, and most nights my tummy is harder than earlier in the day. I had just put it down to the weird and wonderful world of pregnancy!

I get it in the middle of the night - usually if my bladder is full.

Yep, I get it on and off too :). It is uncomfortable, so have a lie down when it happens :lol:

I started getting these about a week ago too.

I'm finding lots of these kinds of things that none of my previously pregnant friends every spoke about!!
It's all a bit overwhelming to be honest!

Sounds exactly like what I've been feeling. I think my belly feels tighter if I've been really busy and on my feet a lot, which could be why you feel it more at the end of the day?

Definitely normal to be getting BH. Apparently I was having one during my 20 weeks scan. The sonographer said that the lower part of my uterus was thicker (or something like that!) than usual, which was probably caused by a BH.

So many weird and wonderful things that happen to your body during pregnancy that no-one warns you about!
