2nd miscarriage
Hia im nat, im new to this whole forum thing. I had a miscarriage two years ago and have taken a long time to get pregnant again. I had an early scan at 8 weeks to find that it hadnt grown past 5 weeks and to wait another 2 weeks for a scan. today i had my scan and it hasnt grown so ive booked to have an op to have it removed as the pain was unbearable last time. I feel really numb at the mo and dont know how im going to carry on with everyday things. In total we have been trying for 3 half years. If anyone has a similar story or kind words I would really appreciate them. xx

I'm sorry for your loss. It can be really discouraging can't it. 2 years ago I had a stillbirth, since then I have had 6 miscarriages. I feel defective, I feel like each one takes me back to the starting line ... AGAIN!
Go gently on yourself. Lots of love to you xxxxx

loss
im sorry to hear about all your losses, im actually here to tell you about a genetic problem in my family that my aunty has and we all had to get tested
my aunty had a still born at 34 weeks and has many misscarriages alot, they usually wont test your blood for these problems unles its asked for or if you already know about it.
the gentic prob is called THROMBOPHILIA, and FACTOR 5 LAIDEN.
please if you ahvent been tested please ask ur drs as this can play a big part in losing babies and if you have it they can help you have a succesful pregnancy as my aunt now has a healthy 7yr old due to getting testing for these things and them helping her our with medication once she gets pregnant

Hey Nat,
Im so sorry to hear about your 2 miscarriages, i myself have had two. I know how hard it is to carry on like normal again, but we just have to. There is nothing i can say that will make the pain go away but i can tell you that i am here if you need to talk or anything. I find that if i can talk about it to someone or online here i feel that it helps.
We can't give up, when we do get pregnant and have healthy babies we are going to look back and say it was all worth going though this pain to come out the other end and be Mum's happy proud Mum's. I personally can't wait!!!
Good luck with everything

I'm so sorry for your loss! *hugs*
Don't give up hope though. I've lost 4 precious babies since January 2005 and now have a wonderful little boy, born (12 days late) in Dec last year.
There is always hope, even in the darkest times. There are many other here who have been through the same thing and gone on to have healthy and happy pregnancies. If you need help, or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me, or any of the other wonderful ladies here on BB.
