Hmmm....hope i don't lose my job now....

Our work just got the contract for a program but only in 2 of the 3 areas we applied for. The area we didn't get is the one i'm currently working in. So this will mean that there isn't enough money to fund everyones positions. So while i haven't heard anything yet....i'm thinking there are some people that they will make redundant.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all they training they've sent me to lately and all the extra work they are giving me means that they will keep me and just change my office location.
We can't afford for me not to be working right now. We only have 5 months till bubs is due so i'm hoping they'll keep me until then.

i was returning to work after study leave, when i was made redundant and then found out i was pregnant. Not so easy looking for work with a bump, especially in 'professional' jobs.

keep reminding them how valuable you are, and how they can't do without you.
