I still always have DD facing me.
Ditto - I still have my DD facing me. I've tried her a couple of times facing the other way and she just does not seem to like it. Not to mention I love the interaction that I get to have with her facing me.
Janie xxx
usually facing me, i just love watching her when we go for a walk and like being able to chat to her. I only turn her around if the sun is shining in her eyes, but lately i've just been draping a muslin cloth over the pram to block the sun- just doesn't work too well when it's a bit breezy!
Mines facing outward.....DD loves to look around and has done so since about 6 months :crying:
my pram only faces one way :( when DD was little she hated it and would scream. People must have thought i was crazy trying to get home while pushing the pram backwards so DD could see me! If i was buying another pram i would have it faceing me alot longer.
ours still faces towards us almost all the time - i think i've left it facing out only once when i set it up to get from car to the footpath (and cover - it was pelting rain) - we then took unhappy bubba out of the pram and carried her, and used the pram like a trolley lol
facing me...but DS is still only 5 mths. i love it though - i talk to him all the time. people prob think i'm crazy!
Pram - facing me
Stroller - facing away (no other option) - I tend to have the hood pulled back and he can still look up at me if he needs to, but he seems to enjoy looking around
Pram almost always facing me, though very occasionally I'll turn it the other way so she isn't looking right into the sun.
I would not have used a pram that didn't face me. I feel sorry for babies, especially very young ones, who have to have the whole world coming at them all the time without even a sight of their mum or dad for security. And I love the interaction I get with DD, talking to her all the time.
I have a double pram which only faces outwards.
My pram has the facility to do both facing in and out - i used it facing out once when DD was 6 months and when i went back to her facing me she cried and carried on until i turned her outward again :o - I musn't be interesting in enough for her ;) she knows im there as i always check on her....so i guess it depends on the child...
Generally facing towards me - and that includes my twin pram which can face either way and even one each way if they want to *discuss* things a little too physically ;) Unless we take the stroller. Then it is only out. They don't mind it but seem to prefer being able to face me / us.
Facing me in the pram and away in the stroller. She much prefers facing me and seems to get a bit stressed when facing out.
Wow Michelle, that sounds like a pretty awesome twin pram! What kind is it?
Mine can do both...when ds was little it always faced me, cause I am with you Tenar its sad when tiny bubbas are looking at peoples legs and not a familiar face :( But once Ds wanted to look out I turned him around...sometimes if he is being curious and touching stuffi turn him back to me so i can see what he is doing :)
Michelle that pram is awesome :)
Still have DD facing towards me. Never really thought about changing it because I want to be able to spy on what she is up to amongst other things! She is a bit of a grab and eat kind of girl.
