Anyone had this??

I had a show yesterday. Freaked me out a bit when the midwife said it was a show as im only 29 weeks.
Was monitered and everything is fine, no contractions, waters intact and no more bleeding but then she said it is common for some women to have 4-5 shows before the proper one.
This is the first I have heard of it I thought a show was a sign things were getting ready to go.
I certainly hope this is not the case as I am not ready for her yet she needs many more weeks of baking thank you!
Anyone else have early shows and everything be just fine?

I've never heard of this either, I would panic now if I had a show! I thought it was a sign of things getting a move on too. Hopefully little one stays baking for you :)

Hmmm... I did have an early show, at 34 weeks, with ds. i didn't go into labour until 39w+3d.

I'm guessing it was a brown-coloured show, not a bloody one? I remember my mw telling me that only bloody shows are really alarming, and the brown ones don't mean too much...
