eczema from grass?
dd2 has this dotty, eczema type rash on the back of the top part of her legs. the only thing ican think that could have caused it was that she was sitting on grass y esterday for a little while. do you think that can cause eczema? and should i just moisturise it to make it go away?

When we were kids I remember getting a really itchy rash after rolling around on the grass. I think it was when the grass was wet or something? Not sure.
Certain grasses can cause allergic reactions, but I don't think it sounds like eczema. Eczema is a really dry & intensly itchy rash. Kinda like dry peeling skin & itchy.

I suffer from allergies, grass being one of them, and that does sound like a grass allergy but not eczema, which is dry and pink/red patches.
I wouldn't moisturise it, I would think it would make it worse. I'd use an antihistimine - medication or lotion. I'm not sure what the have for kids. It should disappear within a day or so but will most likely be irritating for your DD.
