Got my HCG test results!!

:bfp:Well merry christmas to my partner and I, we have fallen pregnant after our first IVF cycle. After heartache in the beginning it has all payed off. Wow I am so excited:D. I decided to tell my parents and my sister and I got double news :o my sister announced that she is also expecting her first child!!!!!!!!!! She is 11 weeks and I am about 3 or 4 lol. She isnt very well with her pregnancy but fingers crossed. Merry christmas mum and dad, both your kids are making you grandparents at the same time:dance:. LOL

Sorry if this is over the top but I am just so excited. Thanks for all your support through my IVF journey ladies I dont think I would have gotten through without people like you.:grouphug:

Do you know your HCG level?

No i dont know my HCG levels, I will find them out this afternoon and I will post them up so people can tell me what it means lol. I am a bit cranky atm, I went to a gp in adelaide since we just moved here and the chick at the desk was so rude!!! She was to occupied at talking to another receptionist at my suposed radiology centre about a hot doctor and maybe having to stay back late just to see him:o. I was standing right there waiting to see if i could have the ultrasound in 2 weeks. I didnt know what the ultrasound was for but i just needed the fax number as my IVF doctor would send what was to be done. She replied unless you have a radiology SA in queensland which I am almost, no not almost, 100% sure you cant do that because that is queensland not south australia. You can imagine what happened next, I snatch the form off her and said I have never been so appauled by such unprofessionalism and I marched out. Needless to say I wont be going to that ultrasound appointment or that doctors surgery again.:cry::angry: Anyway I will be telling my IVF doctor in brisbane to organise the ultrasound himself if he can.

Sorry about the vent but I have to say my stress levels are much lower now lol.:wall:

My HCG levels are 405, whatever thats means lol. If someone knows what this means I would love to know. Now I have a question, does anyone know any good hospitals in adelaide that could take me in an emerancy with ovarian hypostimulation syndrome, My dr in brisbane didnt know any and he said that having a hospital that deals with IVF would be a good one to go to if we have to.
