Laa is sticking her little fingers in her throat, causing her to do little spews. She only just started doing this 10 mins or so ago - I think she might have a hair in her throat? Or is there anything else that this could be?
TIA

Sam has done this for a while. I have noticed that he does it more so when tired. I've never been able to see if there's something stuck in his throat irritating him, but we offer him water when he does it and he seems to stop. Perhaps it's just a dry, irritated throat?

Thanks BW
She is asleep now, I hope that's all it was (and I really hope she doesn't keep doing it!!)
My DD started to do this. The more we told her not to do it, the more it happened. So we ignored it and it stopped.
It is scary, I know. There was one stage where Sam wasn't very well and he was really unhappy and doing it - then had a massive mucusy spew and was happy and cheery after that, but mostly it seems to be a tired/thirsty thing for him. We gently remove his hand, offer his sippy cup and tell him that fingers don't belong in his mouth. I hope she doesn't make a habit of it!
