I can't take it anymore!!!
DS seems to have developed a thing for screaming us awake to come and get him :wall:
it is driving me insane having to wake up to screaming EVERY morning and also this is how he wakes during the day too.
there is no warning in the mornings (u know like a little grizzle first), it is just a blood curdling scream that he lets out (it scares the cr*p out of me every morning) and he keeps screaming until we go and get him.
WHY IS HE DOING THIS??? If i understood why he does it, it would make it much easier but i don't understand at all. He is fine as soon as we pick him up, he doesn't seem scared or like he had a bad dream or anything.
How can I teach him that he doesn't have to scream to get us up? We have NEVER used control crying or anything so he knows we will always be there when he needs us, so it doesn't make sense why all of a sudden over the last few weeks he has started this screaming.
And i should add he is waking up at 5am, which he never used to do, he used to get up at around 7am, but since daylight savings has started its been 5am wake up (and its not too light because he has block out blinds in his room). He isn't too hot or too cold, there is no noises to wake him up, we have tried different bed times too and also he only has one sleep a day after lunch. I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS BUT ITS DRIVING ME NUTS
please help... any suggestions would be appreciated
