Shocking mood swings?
I've been having shocking mood swings for about a month now & i can't control them, its amazing i thought i was bad around my period but this is a million times worse.
No one even does anything wrong, i just snap & I'm getting into so much trouble for it, people don't want to be around me!
Anyone else having such problems or can help with mine?

Ahh well come to the "dark side" of growing another human inside of you. hormones = worse then PMS some times. but hey- we're aloud to be grumpy if we cant have that cookie right now! it'll even its self out at some point. until then. enjoy the rath of "preggo rage" ;)

Lol. There are soooo many things both on the dark side or the good side - if your BF says anything about the mood swings, tell him it's because the hormones that start some very vivid and enjoyable dreams haven't kicked in yet... as for anyone else, ask them how they'd feel if they were growing an extra set of everything on less sleep because they're up peeing half the night... and if you're feeling upset, just remember that around the corner there'll be another high to come! Good luck!

I haven't been having mood swings but extreme periods of tearfulness. And it's the slightest thing that sets me off!!

Its not my bf that has the problem as much, it does give him whiplash but I'm getting in trouble for my mood swings off my parents more then anybody else. & yes even though i am independent & pregnant i still get parented because unfortunately I'm only 17 & living with my parents still.

 It's tough being pregnant. Not just a big belly is it? I too had terrible mood swings when I was pregnant. You couldn't look at me sideways!!
And the tears!! I once cried for hours because we'd run out of icing sugar, I was devastated :shakehead:
Come on here & vent whenever you like.

i find i get really snappy if I'm hungry or tired or hot! Otherwise I'm ok.... lucky it's just at home! oh and have got teary at times too

Ooooh, I don't even want to think about the mood swings I had when I was PG.... *shudder* ...
 It's all hormones. Be kind to yourself, take it easy, it won't be forever

I'm the same at the moment.
I have been up and down so often and I cry ALL the time. I'm super emotional as it is but now it's just ridiculous :wall:
DH and I had a huge argument the other day coz he said "your just so touchy!" to which I replied (yelled) "What do you expect?!?! I'm making a human!!!!!!!"
He's only just figured that it's the pregnancy hormones but now other family members are avoiding me coz I'm just so emotional. I actually really dispise it at the moment.
I'm hanging onto the hope that it will pass soon and I plan on heading back to the gym soon (I broke my toe and fractured my foot...doh!) to do some yoga/pilates to try and get some balance.
I hope yours settles down soon and I know exactly what your going through!
Take it easy :D
-
Ooohh I hear you with the mood swings! My poor kids know it too.. they cant even touch me. I hope your moodiness eases soon, BUT like the other ladies have said, growing another human is hard work.
Take it easy on yourself, when you have your cranky pants on, why dont you go for a walk or do something u enjoy, that should relax u a little...
Hugs,
Jenni

Mood swings? I think it's perfectly normal to yell at your salmon steak while it is in the pan because it isn't cooking properly and then throw the fish slice across the kitchen, swearing as you do it and then storm into your bedroom and slam the door shut, all while your partner looks on with raised eyebrows :o
