could i be pregnant

a couple of months ago i was told after a laproscopy that one of my tubes was blocked and the other is damaged and not functioning as it shwd ..they told me that i had a very low chance of conceiving and since then i have given up on trying to conceive..Well my cycle is usually 28 days i was due to ovulate on the 25th dec i usually have an aching pain when ovulating which im told could be because im ovulating in the blocked tube but i did not have any pain this month, my af was due 2 days ago and no signs of it coming..My breasts are swollen and slightly tender and the veins are more prominent, and i am having terrible mood swings to the point that i kicked the bf out this morning for nothing really..I wont do a test because i know that i am going to be totally gutted if it comes back negative..Could it be a christmas miracle and i would love to know if anyone has ever been told they have a low chance of conceiving and ended up getting pregnant naturally..I am so confused and i am trying my hardest not to build up my hopes but i cant help it....

You need to test hun! Go for it you have nothing to loose...every one of those symptoms i have had in both pregnancy's.....sounding good will keep checking on this thread to see a BFP.

i know i should test hun just to put my mind at rest but im so scared to do so, i promised myself when i saw the docs tha i wasnt going to put myself thru this anymore but hey we all like to hope and i have that while af is late, for the last hour or so i have had mild stomach ache but i usually spot bleed a couple of days before af is due and i have not had that either think i will leave testing for a couple of days as all the symptoms i am having could also be due to af being due...I so hope it isnt tho and im gonna have the bestest christmas present ever lol..iv caught for all four of my boys in november and december im hoping they are my fertile months lol..il keep you posted and hopefully it will be gwd news as this will be mine and my partners 1st baby together he does not have any of his own and this would mean the world to both of us...x

thank you hun, its 31 days tomorrow n thas the longest cycle i have which is rarely plus i usually have spotting first to let me know af is on its way..so im gonna test on monday if nowt cums by then which fingers crossed it wont, im trying not to get my hopes up but you know what its like its hard not too an u know theres a gwd chance your gonna get knocked down again..gwd luck to u too hun x x

hey its the 31 day mark the longest cycle i have ever had and still no sign of af..i really really want to test because i know if it cums back positive im gonna be the happiest woman in the world but testing also scares me because it could cum back negative and il be gutted with myself for allowing myself to get excited wen i have been told that it is unlikely i can conceive naturally....grrrrrrr i dont know what to do....whichever way it goes if im not af will arrive so i dont know why the test being negative would gutt me more i cant explain it...hope you all have a nice day x x:pray:

well i have done 3 tests and they are all negative.. af still hasnt arrived and no signs of it coming.. now im really confused.. this is day 32, the longest cycle i have ever had as been 31 days.. n that has only happened once in the last year usually im 28 days like clockwork.. i was warned by doctors that i will be prone to tubal pregnancy as the damaged tube is not functioning as it shwd, does a pregnancy test show positive if it is tubal.. i am not having any pain and my left boob was really sore wen i got up this morning.. in the last couple of wks i have had headaches which i never get.. think im gonna make docs appointment if af has not arrived by monday n i still test negative....

Chikababy I'm sorry you haven't got any answers to what is going on. I hope you get things back on track soon X
I had never had a cycle longer than 34 days, yet last month when I wanted to get AF to start my cycle of IVF, I had an excriciating 41 day cycle. It was horrible. And I never had any feeling as to what was going on. I hope thingd work out for you, and you get your BFP soon X

no stomach ache...hun im so scared n confused..still no sign of af..been told im infertile after laproscopy nearly 3 mths ago tests cummin negative boobs swollen n sore..veins prominent..larger darker nipples never gone this late x x

Hopefully it was just too soon to test. You have some promising symptoms. When I tested in November I got several BFNs before I finally got a really faint almost invisible BFP. It wasn't until AF was a week late that I got an abvious BFP. Fingers crossed you'll get a BFP in another few days.

oh well ladies af has arrived and like i thought im gutted, why is it i let my hope build up to know that im gonna get brought down with a bump again..iv never had an af as late as this tho i wan let me get my hopes up ever, cant keep doing this..I dont think i will ever have another baby and that breaks my heart..I am infertile because i tried to give my lil man a chance at life when i knew he was not gonna make it but hey i would not change a thing even tho he isnt with me anymore i got to have him for 18 hrs..I just wish that i could have one more chance of having a happy healthy baby, i feel like a mum with no babe in arms...thanx for all your kind words these last couple of days i appreciated it x x x
