TTC and a Polyp

Hi all,
I am after some info. I have just had a m/c and am still bleeding, so today I went and saw an ob at Monash for a d &c referral. Becasue I have nothing left in my uterus I am not a candidate for it. However when I had an u/s yesterday, it was noted that I have a small polyp near my cervix. I have now been referred to gyny and have to wait for an appointment, then have to wait again for the waiting list for possible surgery as I am a public patient.

The Dr told me that it may have been the reason for the m/c...or may not have been. He also said that if we ttc again soon obviously he couldnt guarentee it wouldnt end in m/c or it could go to term. Or we could wait til its been decided that I need the polyp removed (he did say the wait would be months). So basically he was iffy about it all!

I spoke with dh and we just wanted to find out if there were any sucessful pregnancies if you knew you had a single polyp. Or should I really wait? Obviously I would really love to try straight away...whenever the bleeding stops! Any advise/info would be greatly appreciated,
