Buying new foot pedal for sewing machine?

Hi

I have an old sewing machine that still does everything i want and i am happy to keep going with as long as i can. Unfortunately, i was transporting it a couple of weeks ago, and when i got home and went to set it up again, the foot pedal has a large crack underneath and is no longer making the needle move.

Can you buy the sewing machine pedals? It is a Janome model and has a sticker that says "Appr No. V79489 / L372". (not sure what the model is)

you should be able to go to a janome repairer and get it from them.. they alwasy end up with left over parts from when people dump their machines after deciding not to fix it.
