I have stretchmarks THERE?!?! **TMI**

I don't know if this happens a lot, but I've never heard anyone mention it before...

For the last few days i've been really itchy in my pubic area, I thought it was maybe some hair growth from a little trim I did, or from pants rubbing there - it's getting hard to actually see what's going on with my big belly in the way!!

Anyway, I got DH to have a look and he said they looked like stretch marks :o
So I quickly go to find a mirror for further inspection, and lo and behold there are a whole pile of big angry red stretch marks all over my hooha!!! What the..? But why there?!
Awww man, I wasn't prepared for this! :lol:

I got them there with my first pg. I thought I had goten away with no stretchies at all, but I happened to look in the mirror and lifted my belly up a little (I carry really really low) and here they all were, hiding away down there LOL. I didn't actually realise I had them on my pubic area till I shaved down there well after he was born!

Yep, I got them too with my first baby. I had them EVERYWHERE. I guess I stretched out so much that that was the only place left to stretch. I'm guessing that is the same for you too.
TMI but for WIW, I don't get much hair there anymore either which for me is a good thing, less to maintain ;)

Lisa I noticed that too - not so much when the hair is long, but when the regrowth starts you notice it heaps.

I got that with my son too .. right down the middle of my privates .. it lined up with my linea nigra so i thought thats what it was while i was pregnant but now that ive lost weight since ive had hime i can definately tell it was a stretchmark .. no hair grows there now so if i wanted to i could easily have an inverted brazillian =D .. lol

i never got any there but what i can say is i noticed and have noticed i do gain weight there it puffs up like as tho i have lots of fat there.

Wow, is there any part of our bodies that gets a break when we are pregnant? I don't have any there...yet, just on me bum, boobies and around my belly button.

I didnt get them there, never actually thought of getting them there!! I did get them on my bum, boobs and heaps on my tummy now i say i have a grandma belly i just cant get it back and it looks all wrinkly from the amount of stretchies its gross :redface:

Yup, mines a big one now too!! No sympathy from DH, he just thinks it's hilarious. Don't know about stretch marks down there, will have to get DH to investigate.... I can't find it! LOL

thanks ladies, I don't feel so shocked anymore, hehehe! And yes, it's puffy too down there but no idea how to get rid of it yet!

i am another who got strechies on my hooharr! mine go from just under my belly to about an inch into the "hair line" im fairly sure i didnt have them before i gave birth, TMI but DH would know better - he 'trimmed' the hair before i gave birth for me!. now i just need them on my boobies and i can have a full "bikini look" with them ;)

I'm waiting for my stretchies to comes through- i know they will my belly is so itchy its not funny

Yep I have got just the one down there, big one that runs vertical, it annoys the hell out of me every day! I watched a study today that found when 100 women all used different creams for a month without knowing what they were using, The coco butter stretch mark cream came out on top, beat the $200 creams, couldn't believe it! So I'm going to start using it again. Won't make them go away but will disguise them a bit more lol
