Therapeutic diet & endo
Hi,
I'm wondering whether anyone has attempted therapeutic diets for endo? Has anyone had any success with treating symptoms/increasing fertility via diet?
I am at my wits end with the whole TTC thing. Our only diagnosed difficulty is mild endo, and other than a chemical PG following a laparoscopy a year ago, we've had no success conceiving. I've ordered a copy of books re endo and diet, but was hoping to hear about others' experiences, because after 3 failed IUIs and 1 failed IVF cycle, I want to try anything that may be useful in increasing my overall health.
Thanks,
-Sal

Help is at hand
Yes!!
I haven't posted in here for a while as I beat my Endo and PCOS naturally some time ago.
I could go on forever, but in a nutshell....
1) Stop seeing conventional docs (they cant offer anything except synthetic drugs and surgery which addresses the symptoms but not the cause), and find a Naturopath who specialises in Natural Fertility Management. (Contact ANTA - Australian Natural Therapists Association to find one near you). There are many natural remedies that can help but you need to seek a professional so they can tailor the treatment to your individual needs.
2) Learn about the acid-alkaline balance and how you can increase your body's ph level through diet (PCOS and Endo require an acidic environment to thrive, as does thrush and pretty much any other condition classified as 'dis-ease'). Google acid alkaline balance to find out more and start alkalising! This will assist your body's natural detox processes - vital for healthy conception.
3) Stop using toxin-ridden personal care and cleaning products. Chemicals in mainstream personal care (deoderant, cosmetics, skin care etc) and cleaning products are loaded with synthetic chemicals which mimic estrogen in the body (excess estrogen acts as a contraceptive - like the pill) , increase toxicity and encourage weight gain. Check out the MiEssence range online!
4) Get your partner/DH to follow these principles too!! So many women make all these changes, but forget that conception requires healthy sperm - which are harvested and thrive in an alkaline environment that is free from toxic chemicals.
Oh - and start taking a probiotic supplement like In-Liven- avail from the bellybelly online store - needs to be kept in fridge!
and - you may wish to google Zeolite - Natural Cellular Defense- removes heavy metals from the body, increases ph and enhances your overall health and consequently, chances of conception.
Hope this helps....
