Moving a low-lying placenta? What?
I was just on another site, and came across a thread about what people prefer in birth (Caesars or vaginal birth) and came across this exchange:
:
I want to give birth naturally. I have a low lying placenta at the moment but I'm hoping that will move, otherwise it could mean a c-section.
Right under that was someone else:
:
I am the same as {first poster}, low lying placenta which i am praying will move. hoping bub will kick it out of the way :)
I'm a little concerned, maybe it's the way they worded it and I'm reading it wrong, but it seems to me that they think the placenta is able to move from the position it's stuck in. I'm sure this can't happen, because it's... Well, stuck. Right? I'm not really sure what I expect to come from me posting this, to be honest, I guess I wanted to share. Get some other thoughts on it so I'm either justified in wanting to correct them, or have my mind set at ease so I don't want to anymore :p
As always, I've had another nonsensical rambling post
