Wet dream disaster

I am very frustrated this morning.
When we had our first specialist appointment at the beginning of Feb my DH was asked to have a sperm test. I was also asked to have blood tests and a HyCoSy. I had all my tests straight away but my DH decided (as usual ](*,) ) to put things off. He finally made the appointment last week because I was nagging him about it and the test was supposed to be this morning. So after our last BD on Sat night he was supposed to leave it alone until the test....but....he woke me up this morning at 4am to tell me he had a wet dream....

I just rang the clinic and had to change his appointment (he was too scared to ring 8-[ ). To fit the appointment in around my cycle, the new one is now only two working days before our next appointment with the specialist.....but the results take 5 working days to reach the doc...

I know it is probably quite an embaressing thing for a man to have to have this type of test and even more embaressing that he had his first wet dream in over a year on the day he was supposed to have the test..BUT I cant help but be annoyed because if he had of just been a little more organised and had the test three months ago we would have had heaps of time to get it sorted out......

Oh how annoying for you & embarrassing for him. Aaron was the same with his tests, put it of for aaages as well. I suppose it might be that they're worried about a hit to their ego with the results.

hi my dp also put his test off for ages, then when we finally did, we rang around to find a place that would take the sample on weekends, got the drill down pat, had to be there before 10.15 etc etc, so we did all this, only to turn up and be told sorry they don't do that testing here and don't have the facilities to keep it, the girl we had spoken to was new, luckily i was in the car or i may not have been nice, anyway we then had to put it off for another week, and poor dp had to drop his sample in between 9 and 9.30 on his way to work, but we eventually got there

Ohh Tinka..how frustrating...DH just saw your post and doesn't reckon grown men have wet dreams....hmmm, maybe that's just him????

my DH was like that with the blood tests before we went to the IVF clinic, he had them THE MORNING we had the appointment!

He is also putting off getting his extraction done, I'd like it done before they start me on my drugs as I want to make sure they get enuf swimmers!

I was a little shocked when DH told me about it in the morning....Maybe I was a super sexy sleeper that morning or something :lol:
