Hot Flushes at my age??

I'm 33 and have a mirena and have been getting hot flushes constantly for the past 2-3 months. I can't stand them, i feel like stripping off :redface:

I considered going to my GP but i couldn't get a blood test because i have a mirena and that would distort hormonal levels.

I'm gonna get this bl@@dy thing out, i reckon!!

You don't think its menopause do you??

You know i have had them too - since not being preg or on the pill
I put them down to hormonals not menopause.

Perhaps it is something similar?

Hi, The first few months after having my Implanon put in I had the hot flushes. Thank goodness it eventually settled down. Hope it does for you too....

FWIW, I get hot flushes every now and then and I'm 19 :o I started getting them after my first pg, so I assume it's something hormonal to do with the changes my body went through, as my nipples stayed different to how they were pre pg too. They're awful aren't that?
