Was talking to my nieces DP on the weekend and got talking about childcare. She is hoping to go back to work around May and needs to find somewhere for their DD.
He said that they had put their name down for a few but had heard nothing.
Is this common?
Anybody go any feedback for me to send on.

Sure is!! I live in Canberra and it took me ages to find a spot for Aiden- I called them all once a week!! I think one place gave me a spot to shut me up!!! Though I have now moved him to a much better one!! Its at the airport - Majura Park its called and they are AWESOME :D
Oh yeah!
I know people who put their names down at dozens of places before the kid was born and 12 months after he was born they only just got a place and not for what they really wanted.
Some of the places update their details on the federal government website.
Noahs Ark in Rivett opens on 1st Feb - they may already be full but worth a try.
