Please help with a dream i had last night

I had the worst dream :(

I dreamt that my little girl drowned and died, i saw her body and everything! most the dream was everyone just getting on with life as normal, even my husband! All i did the whole dream was CRY and CRY! i saw myself doing grocery shopping etc crying but everyone telling me to get over it and stop being silly! i saw her funeral too :(

It made me feel sick this morning when i woke up

Im normally good at working out what my dreams are telling me but this one was horrible and i cant work out what its trying to say?

It sounds to me like a pure fear-dream. It's a way of your brain processing what you fear the most.

Either that or it symbolised changes you see in her. Death in a dream can often mean change in something (or someone). Is she growing up much quicker than you'd like?

I hope you've had some much sweeter dreams over the last 3 days... :comfort:

I beleive death is more about change than dying itself. I think what Nettie has posted is spot on.

I agree with Nettie and RhiChiChi. The most likely explanation is that the death in your dream is symbolising a significant change (ie. your little one is growing up quickly), The feedback from others in your dream is also supportive of this interpretation and makes a literal interpretation unlikely

Or maybe because you have a new baby she is not your 'baby' anymore? and the dream is not about her dying but you losing her as your baby IYKWIM?
