Getting rid of the baby bump leftovers!
Ok so it's been 6 months since DD was born and I haven't done anything about trying to shift the weight I gained, which was probably about 10-15kgs. I look horrible (or at least I think I do), I hate looking at myself in the mirror, boob area is passable, but the tummy is definitely a no-go area and my thighs are quite huge... I was always fairly slim and never had to worry about what I ate and I think that is what I'm struggling with the most. I haven't worried too much about trying to get rid of it before now, but I am starting to get sick of myself and DF keeps asking/joking about my "jelly belly" and isn't it time to do something about it if I hate it so much.
I just can't find the time to exercise properly...I try and go for at least an hour's walk with the dog and DD in the pram every day, somedays we might not make it at all though just due to timing/other things I have to do/the heat. I usually spend at least 10 mins or so dancing around the loungeroom with DD as she loves music/dancing!
I have been recording some of the fitness programs off Austar but just dont have the time during the day to work out, I managed about 10mins of a step class today but then DD woke up, same as the other day I did about 20 mins of a dance class but she woke up...There are so many other things that I need to get done when she is asleep that I can't do/are too hard to do when she is awake so I tend to prioritise them more than exercising.
How do you find the time to get in a good workout with a baby? Late afternoon/evening isn't suitable...the crazy dinner/bath/bed routine and I'm just too tired by the end of the day. I have said to DF about entertaining DD while I do some exercise but that has been a dead end...he seems to think I can just pull a spare half hour out of my bum...or forget about chores for half an hour but if I don't do them no one else will.
Guess I'm just after some ideas/tips on how I can start to shift this weight and how to find the time to exercise properly! I know that was long..thanks for reading
