............ and I love it. I love seeing DH's face when DD calls for her daddy. He leaves the house and she cries out for her daddy. None of the other kids were like this so I'm so happy for DH that he has at least one daddy's girl. Any other daddy's girls/boys out there? Would love to hear stories on what your little one's do with their daddy's.

DD1 is an absolute daddyy's girl, she calls him her daddy friend.
every morning she wakes up and asks if her daddy friend is home, some times i need to sit with her and consol her because he's at work.
When he gets home from work she runs to the door screaming daddys home, daddys home. and every night he has to read her a story.
and u know what he LOVES it!
Daddy friend, that is just so cute.

Awwww that is so sweet. I hope DD is like this with DP. I think it would melt his heart for life!
And as long as she is close to me as well, then thats ok :)
DD1 never used to be but after he had time off at X-Mas and then when i went into hosp for DD2 she is now.
We say Daddy's home and she runs to 1 door (glass, sliding, she can see up the drive then) and then when he stops she runs to the other door and yells DADDY and bangs on the door til he looks at her!
She also pretends to talk on the phone now and every time it's always Dad or Daddy and she YELLS his name. :D
I agree though it's great to see the bond there, DP used to feel a bit frustrated i think because we spent all day together and he worked long hours and she would choose me over him.. now she doesn't care who puts her to bed etc and is more than happy to have Daddy cuddles.
