Had my first Specialist appointment today

I'm now confused ....

I had my specialist appt today he is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL man!!!

but now, I am confused. The GP ran some tests a few weeks back. When my results came back they were all fine. But now, Dr Wonderful Murray (I say that with love) tells me they didnt even test for the right things!?!?! (WTF was the dr testing for then?)

Sounds strange, but i trust what Dr Murray says, as I know a few people that have been to see him and say he is wonderful and takes the time out to answer your questions and explain things to you. Which he did with me today.

He also said charting was not good, and it just add's confusion as your temp could rise from it being a warm night etc which i do understand - Has anyone else been told this? I thought charting was a good thing to do? And here I was thinking I was getting good at getting to know my cycle!! :lol: He also said not to waste anymore money on OPK's - so I am going to take his advice :D

naenae83 my specialist said the same thing about OPT and temping. Maybe it helps if you have irregular cycles or don't have a clue when the fertile time is. He said it was a waste of money and time. TBH if your going to get pregnant I think it will happen with or without OPT and temp taking.
Most GP's don't know what to test ofr. They do very prelimanary tests in comparison to FS.

Thanks Emmy, I'm like clockwork - so temping and opk's really are wasting my time and money (I O usually day 12/13 anyways)

I guess now that I have a fair idea of when i do O we can go by that. at least now we are on the right path to finding out if i do actually 'O' or if i dont.
