What age for riding tricycle?

At what age did your child start riding a tricycle- as in, actually using the peddles to propel themselves along?

My DD got one at 2 but couldn't pedal herself until she was 2.5yrs. My nephew was younger then that (much more active then DD) DD could only do it on concrete and a flat surface. She still struggles over grass or bumps and lumps.

Hmm...Jaz was about 3? Had the training wheels off at 4.5! I think Bri was about 2ish. Maybe 2.5. Jesse is starting now, but can't quite reach the pedals all the way, lol.

Nina was about 2.5 when she could confidentially use the pedals.

dd is currently 2.5yo and has been pedalling for the last 3 months.

my son was 18months when he started riding a tricycle properly, and a regular bike (with trainer wheels) at 2, a bit out of the norm but he did walk very early so I am putting it down to that.

DS was at least 2.5, maybe closer to 3. but has his training wheels off his bike now at 4y2m
