Weird cycle while breastfeeding?

We are still feeding overnight; have reduced day feeds by 1 or two; overall still feeding atleast 5x a day and bub is 10mths old. He is on solids as well.

I got my cycle back 5 days ago; but its been rather odd. Not heavy, very little cramps. It actually reminds me of lochia, more mucousy and old/new blood. I keep thinking its stopped but then I go to the toilet, wipe and there is some blood again. Im weary panty liners as a JIC but I dont really need them. Im not on any birth control.

I dont know if this is a normal "side effect" of breastfeeding or if I should see my GP for a check up?

Hun I think it is most likley just a weird first cycle, with your body getting back into the swing of things.

However, Is there any chance it could be an implantation bleed?

Freya, I had weird cycles for ages when AF returned and I was feeding DD1. It probably is normal, but if you're worried I'd get it checked.
