Soooooo Confused!!
Hello All!
Thought we'd start using cloth nappies...
Bought some terry flats today to start us off but would like to try MCNs too. I am so confused by all the different names and descriptions of them all!! Have been googling for ages and am not any clearer on the subject!!! Have only started researching today so tell it to me as if i'm a six year old otherwise it'll go in one ear and out the other (or in one eye out the other!! )
Which brand do you recommend?
Which type of nappy??
Which material do you prefer?
Help me! My babe weighs about 6kgs and is quite a chubba! And he is very long.
Thanks everyone!!!!

I adore one size all-in-ones.
They dry fast, are so easy to put on a baby, no fiddly folding, easy to take off, easy to wash (just throw them straight in the machine).
My baby is 10kg now and they fit her as perfectly now as they did when she was newborn.

I'm a fan of baby beehinds. They are the best MCNs that I have tried. The website has lots of great information about the different types they make.
My favourites are the magic alls fitteds. I use them with flushable liners, which means I just tip poos into the toilet.

Kymmy - I like all my nappies. Depends on what you want.
If you're just gonna use them at home I'd go fitteds & covers. I like the Mother-ese covers (they've got gussets to contain poo-splosions) & I just bought some Cute Tooshies OSFM bamboo fitted nappies that hopefully will last until he's TT.
Check out the cloth chat thread - there's some great advise there.
