Mid cycle bleeding...help!?!

Hi Everyone,
Im new here, so Firstly, Im Ash 25yo SAHM to two boys aged 5 and 3, early decomber DH and i decided to TTC #3 so i went off the pill...Im currently cd25 on my second post pill cycle.. This will probably be a longish post with maybe some TMI so you have been warned :lol:
Anyways, last cycle was 35 days which is pretty normal for me, they are usually 33-37 days long.....for these 2 cycles off the pill and TTC i have used maybe baby and OPK's.

First cycle off the pill and TTC i had mid cycle spotting very light and 3 days later i got a + opk so i put it down to O spotting.....AF came 15 days after my + opk.

Second cycle off the pill ( current cycle ) I started spotting on cd15...Maybe baby ferns built up...OPk's getting darker i cant remember what CD it was as i didnt record it, but i got what i thought was a + OPK...was the same color as the control at the time but then i looked again about 20 mins later and it had faded out to be slightly lighter, so i disregarded it....BUT i remember maybe baby was fully ferning that day aswell......after that they faded off to about 1/2 the color of the control.

so fast forward to 3 days ago........cd 22...spotting started again, but this time its more of a light bleed ( still happening today), i need to wear a pad but its still nothing near a full flow AF.....its really odd because when i wake up in the mornings there is nothing there when i pee, but a few hours later it starts up again and then it dissapears late afternoon. i have no AF like cramps or twinges, havent been PMS'y no skin breakouts dont feel anything like i do before or during AF.

ALSO the last 4 days OPKs have built up again, yesterday i recorded my first + for the cycle ( and it didnt fade away after either :clap: ) the day before the + it was only "just" the teeniest bit lighter then the control BUT maybe baby isnt doing much......it is transitional, with a mix of pebles and a few ferns....I know Maybe baby is pretty unreliable though. I have had a lot of EWCM the past few days when im not bleeding and today before i started bleeding it was a cross of EWCM and watery.

Ohh and also the bleeding also consists of blood tinged EWCM...

So.....a few qustains if anyone can help me....

Has this happened to anyone else?
Can it affect our chances of conceiving this cycle?
Its my second cycle off the pill...could my body still be adjusting?
what do you think the deal was with the first near + opk previously?

Obviously i will be seeing a Dr but i think really, if i do go now they will send me away for a few cycles to see what happens considering it is my second off the pill...i guess i just wanted to see if anyone has had or heard of similar experiences before!

Big hus darl! It's always disconcerting when weird things like this happen.
I had midcycle bleeding back at the end of August/Early September, but I was on the pill and thought I was having another miscarriage as the pain was like m/c pain.

One posibility is that it's O bleeding & you are O'ing twice this cycle. Most people & websites would say that Oing twice can only happen within 24 hours of the first O, but there have been cases where it has happened up to 2 or more weeks later.

It could also be that you're body is still adjusting after coming off the pill. I was warned that I might expererience 'breakthrough' bleeds and spotting over the next 3 months after stopping the pill as my body adjusted to not being on it, it never happened for me though.

Another posiblility is that you are experiencing Implantation bleeding. Sometimes when implantation occurs you can get spotting or bleeding that is like having a light AF.

Or, you could be having a cycle with a very short luteal phase.

I'd go and see your doctor about it though, at the very least he/she can refer you for an ultrasound of your ovaries to see what all those little eggies are doing in there and to check and see if you have ovulated or not.

I had breakthrough bleeding too mid cycle - around day 11 or 12 of my cycle, which is weird. I had been on the pill (this time) for about 3 and a half years, before just coming off on the 15th of this month to start AF on the 18th so I'm just going to assume it was "adjustment" bleeding, as it is way to early for it to be the big O bleeding - normally when I'm off the pill, my cycle is around 29-30 days. Though, when off the pill, I've never noticed break through bleeding ever before, so goodness knows what it was =) Body does wacky things when you first come off the pill!
