Whats going on??? (Possible TMI)

Hi all,

I'm slightly concerned about whats going on and hoping someone here can help. On Wednesday last week I had what I would call my 'show'. It was pink tinged mucus that came out in a glob so I didn't really think much of it.

Its now 5 days later and I'm still getting LOADS of big globs of mucus only now its brown (not brown streaked, brown mucus).

I have no idea whats going on, I didn't think a show lasted this long and it doesn't seem to be lessening at all.

Anyone got any ideas??? :redface:

I read when I was pg with DD1 that the mucus plug is around 1/4 cup of mucus that can take several days to come out. I'm pretty sure the colour you describe is not unusual. I know with DD1 mine was streaky brown and sometimes almost totally brown. DD2 I dn't think I had show before birth as I was induced. And this time I'm still waiting waiting...

I had mine coming out for weeks! it was horrible I believe it is because it can reform, therefore it can keep coming out. Mine wasn't the same colour though, I have no idea what is normal and wasn't isn't, so I'm sorry I can't help you there. Definately worth mentioning to your OB or middy.
