I know i've posted a bit in this thread today... i'm getting a little bit domestic :)
WRT baking trays/muffin trays etc which do you like better - the silicon trays/moulds of the normal ones?
I need to buy some more because all the ones I have DH keeps cooking stuff on them and NEVER cleans them properly and I don't fancy making biscuits on them.

I prefer steel ones to the silicon ones. Not for any real reason, but I just don't like the silicon ones much. I got these awesome ones with my new stove and I wish I had more of them they are that good. I hide them away so they aren't used for anything other than baking LOL.
Hate the silicon ones, never had any success with them. I have been tending to just buy the cheapest metal ones, then using baking paper on them - and once they are too black and ugly, I through them out and start again - no tray scrubbing here!
I actually like the silicon ones. Easy to store and clean, and the cakes etc usually don't stick to them. My only tip is to put them on to a baking tray before you pour the batter in because otherwise I find they are hard to put in the oven without spilling.
We have silicon ones here too, and like them. I can never get the baking paper right or miss bits with my greasing, so silicon helps me out there. As Jessica says though, remembering the tray first is key! :lol:
With silicon, I really like popping things out of them too, makes small quiches really easy.
I also have some silicon cupcake holders that I pop in my metal trays, they're cool too.
