What washing liquid/powder do you use?
I couldn't get it right when washing DS nappies, but this time i dont wanna have to keep doing strip washes etc.
Where i live its quite harsh water..
Give me your tips.

You could always just use bi carb?
I did strip wash probably every 3 - 4 weeks & after anything like thrush or gastro to make sure they were extra clean.
Direct sunlight & I've also heard of putting some lemon oil on any stains? Never tried it though.
WE use the earth's choice liquid, but we use less that recommended and add bi-carb and vinegar. If we have a germy load I add tea tree oil to it :)
I haven't strip washed my nappies so far, we only use the eco store for front loaders for our MCN and the terry flats, its does a good enough job and we have hard water here.
FWIW I use a top loader for her clothes wraps, linen etc and use combo softly and omo with just a little bit of lux soap flakes dissolved to help soften the water
