My tummy bub is very responsive to touch!

I'm currently 39+5 (how did that happen!) and have really noticed in the last few days how responsive bub is to touch on the outside of my stomach. I suppose it has been increasing over the past couple of weeks but the last few days have been amazing!

If I touch the muscles around my lower pelvis which make me twitch a little, bub will kick and twitch virtually at the same time. And when I touch my tummy while he's awake, he moves and wiggles against my hand as though there is not a thick layer of womb, skin etc between us - I feel like I'm touching him directly!

It is absolutely gorgeous!! It will be one of my special pregnancy memories :)

Just wondering if others have experienced this or read about it happening late in the pregnancy.

Its amazing hey?! William used to push againt my hand with his foot, he now loves a good foot rub just like we did in the belly :)
