Has anyone been to the Crowne Plaza Gold Tower at Surfers Paradise? I am thinking of going there but am hoping for a personal opinion from someone who has stayed there. It looked nice and I was super keen at first but then when I look at the photos I wonder if the rooms seem small? For the price anyway.
Opinions very welcome!
DH and I stayed in a King room in th Gold Tower for our wedding anniversary back in September. It was lovely. The spa was fantasic. The only small issue we had was with parking cos there isn't alot of it near the Gold Tower but it the weekend we were there the Gold Coast had a huge triathalon event too. The service was great..DH left 2 brand new shirts hanging in the wardrobe and he didn't realise until we came home so I phoned them and they posted them too us that week.
We'd stay there again without hesitation :)
We stayed there for a quick getaway before DD was born last year and found it to be pretty good. Booked a spa room through wotif and the view was amazing. We also had breakfast at the buffet and it really nice - they were happy to cook me eggs the way that I like them and had yummy little hash browns :) We parked under the hotel, I think it costs $4 or something like that but the boom gate was open the whole weekend we were there so we didn't pay anything.
I also stayed there with a group of friends for a girls getaway and we got a normal room with a double bed and 2 singles and I remember that room to be quite small compared to the spa suite but that wasn't the gold tower
