A healthier alternative to Weet-Bix.

There was a product called Lite-Bix in the health food aisles that not enough people bought so the supermarkets took them off their selves. Sanitarium have now re-branded it as Weet-Bix Lite and put it in the cereal aisles (I assume next to the Weet-Bix). It has NO added sugar and NO added salt. It is 100% wheat. It is more expensive than Weet-Bix and you can't buy it in big packs like Weet-Bix, but it is a healthier alternative. At the moment you will only be able to get it from Woolworths and some IGA stores.

Thanks for posting that Moi. i usually buy the Kids Weet Bix, but I'll keep an eye out for that one :D

I haven't seen it in my local stores yet but I'm hoping it'll be in stock soon.

Weet-Bix Lite is also healthier than Weet-Bix Kids, which has added sugar and salt.

"Kids" products are usually a crock anyway.... like "kids" yoghurt... more sugar than adult yoghurt!!! Thanks for posting, we're looking to get something with less salt for DS but he loves his weetbix.
