Provera

I have just been prescribed this and I have been reading through old posts and most people have been taking 10mg Daily for 10 days. But I am taking 10mg BD for 10 days. WIll my symptoms be worse?

What symptoms did you have? When should I bleed?

my nurse said, with provera, you should bleed within the time frame equivalent to how long you took it - so i was on it three days and should have bled within 3 days of coming off it (i didn't, but i'm a freakish case). i was also on double and triple doses at different times. according to DH, the side effects didn't get any worse as far as he could tell - i wasn't any nastier on the triple dose lol.

I missed my morning dose due to getting wisdom teeth out today

I am a fan of the double dosing Ahurani.
So has AF showed signs of its arrival? Is it suppose to arrive after you stop taking it? I am not familiar with provera.

AF will arrive after you stop the provera - personally, i wouldn't double up - i'd just take tonights dose. the progesterone in your system should still be high enough to stop AF arriving. you may get a bit of spotting - but it shouldn't be too bad. just try and remember to take it

hope you're already knocked out on pain meds - wisdom teeth suck!

Thanks for your replies. Not really af coming just heavy feeling. I won't double up just in case I should have taken it when I woke up from anaesthetic but I forgot.

My mouth is aching but still a little numb. 2 mersyndol forte should do it lol.
