Could this affect my supply?
Two weeks ago I started eating a lot better, cut out sugary drinks (juice and softdrink), I was drinking waaaay too much of the stuff, and cut out chocolate (which I love :( ) and a few other naughty things I was eating. I'm still eating well and just eating healthy foods and also eating a bit less than I was. Only eating when I'm really hungry.
I'm so proud of myself for doing this for 2 weeks!!! I've already lost 5kg :o seems too easy.....
My question is, could this drop in weight loss which is a fair amount in 2 weeks, affect my milk supply? DD is still having a few feeds during the day but mainly at night she stocks up (unfortunately ).....
Could this weight loss result in her weaning herself? I guess I just don't want to affect my milk supply incase she weans herself.... however in saying that, I know that it's demand and supply so the more she takes the more I make..... so.... as long as I'm being sensible and eating enough, then all is good right?
I guess I just need reassurance that I'm not losing too much weight too soon?? :dunno:
The weight seems to be dropping off me and it never has before like this.... it must be due to the breastfeeding and my metabolism because of that?
eta - I know she is past 12mths now and will wean when she's ready to, however she still doesn't eat as much food as i'd like her to some days so I feel she still really needs this BM it's still a HUGE part of her diet for her.
I haven't tried to lose weight until now as before I was too worried it would affect our BF journey and milk supply as we had so many probs establishing it in the beginning.....
TIA :D
