Summer?

is it a name that will date or is it a nice name i love it but i dont know how long its gonig to sound nice for i dont know if i can give my bubba that name if its not going to last her whole life help plz?

i love the name Summer :) but DH liked Maddison better.

Summer is lovely. I don't think you'll have to worry about whether it will date or not - people are into naming their children lots of unusual things these days so there'll definitely be people around with weirder names than Summer! If you're really worried, you could give her a more classic middle name and if she really runs into trouble with Summer later in life, she could go by her middle name.

we have decided on Lesley as a middle name it was my grandmas name now for this baby to be a girl lol

Summer is a gorgeous name, i wanted it to be my girls first name but DP likes it better as a middle name. But i dont see it as growing old or not fitting her when shes older. Its a classic lovely name. But by having a strong middle name can help her as well, i like Summer Elizabeth.

ETA: Summer Lesley is lovely! i like :) and i hope you have a girl too. I find out in 12 days what im having and im hoping for a girl.

DH and I like Summer. Even though a friend of ours told us it sounded like a porn stars name. (her name was Debby, so she can talk, NOT! :rolleyes:)

I like Summer Kate, it's one of our girls name choices ;)
