Liver issues

I am looking to vent I guess and have no idea what else I am after in here really. This might be a bit tedious to read... sorry!

Some background.... in July 2007 my DS was born. No real complications except a PPH which they wanted to do a transfusion for but I refused. In November/December of that year I was feeling nauseous (like morning sickness) but was not pg and had RUQ abdominal pains. BTs showed my LFTs were quite high, was referred to a Gastroenterologist who looked at Non Alchoholic Fatty Liver Syndrome and Gall stones. I had many BTs, an U/S which showed I have PCOS, I had a HIDA scan as well as a CT. All were normal and the only noteable thing I saw was slightly and I mean slightly enlarged lymph nodes around my kidneys I believe (was a while ago!). The G'enterologist had no idea what was happening and as the symptoms died down he put it down to just "one of those things". Fast forward to 2009 I give birth to my DD in July and in Nov/Dec I start feeling the same symptoms... nausea, RUQ pain. Go to the Dr have a BT which shows my LFTs are still high but not quite as high as they had been. I get sent for a gastroscopy due to melena. It shows I have no ulcers but a biopsy showed I have Helicobacter Pylori. I go on a 7 day course of Nexium Hp7 which should clear it. Dr requests to see me in 6 weeks for a review and gave me a path form for the breath test to ensure it's gone (test can't be done until 6 weeks after completion of ABs). 2 weeks later I am back feeling nauseous and the Dr puts me back on Nexium and tells me to take it for a month but to go back if I feel worse. I head back a few days later feeling worse and the Dr sends me for an U/S and orders a BT and tests Smooth Anti Muscle. U/S shows that I have an abnormal section of liver and Smooth Anti muscle comes back showing something isn't right. From the U/S it was suggested I go for a CT to look further into my liver. The suggested it could be a bunch of blood vessels or Fatty liver. The day after the CT was requested (I have the CT at 3pm today) I head back to the drs once again as I am feeling dizzy, BP was fine and was told to go home and rest. Get a cracker of a headache that night which barely eases with Panadol. Feel ok for the rest of the day, wake up the next morning with the headache still... go out to the park with the kids and do the food shopping and feel good (besides the nausea and pains) then get home become quite dizzy and spacey, horrid headache and get the shakes... back to the Drs I head. They book a CT scan on my brain just to make sure nothing bad is happening up there and send me home with some tablets to take for the dizziness (which I apparently can't take while bfing :rolleyes: ) The past few days I have still been having dizzy spells and getting the shakes every now and then and feeling quite spacey most of the time. I take my time in doing things to try and avoid bad dizzy spells.

Anyway... if you got this far thanks for reading. Like I said at the start... not sure what I am hoping to get out of this but the vent was good. I head back to the Dr on Friday for my results and am quite nervous as to what they will find. I hope it is something easy to treat :pray:

What a rollercoaster. :hug: Hope they find some answers when you have the CT today. Are you having the abdo and brain CT both done today?

Oh wow, you poor love. Really hope they get it sorted quick smart for you.
