My DH and I have been talking about TTC #3. I just feel that I might be too old - I'm 33. ? I have had 2 caesars with no complications except high blood pressure and liver function problems post natal with PG #2. This resolved on it's own. I'm just scared that we do this and it doesn't work out and I have ruined our lives that we have now. Does that make sense?
I definitely wouldn't class you as too old. I am only just now pregnant with my first at 32 and DH and I plan to have one more, which means I'll probably be 34 or 35 for #2.
I wouln't let age be the determining factor for you.

What do you fear will go wrong? Why do you fear it won't work out and ruin your life? That's quite a dramatic fear :hug:
Yes, I suppose it does sound quite dramatic. I suppose I should mention that I have PNA since the birth of my last child and am on medication for it. I seem to think that every ache or pain I get is something that is going to kill me and so I stress. Stupid, I know, but that is the nature of my anxiety.:
You are definitely not too old to TTC #3 :) I was 36 when I conceived DD and she is a healthy happy normal little girl and seems to make our life just perfect along with our two beautiful boys.
It may be worth talking it over with your GP or the practitioner you are seeing for your PNA about TTC #3 ? A discussion between you, DH and your practitioner may make things a little less stressful for you :hug:
You are not too old at all! Besides, it is not the age per se that matters - as much as your biological age. A 33 year old who takes very good care of themselves physically will be in better stead to have a baby than a 25 year old who is in poor health.
Given your past history, (what with your liver etc) I would suggest that you and your DH consult a Naturopath who specialises in NFM so you can start a preconceptual care program to prepare your bodies for conception. In this time, the naturopath will address any underlying vitamin or mineral deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and toxicity issues, which will greatly increase your quality of egg and sperm, as well as reduce your suseptibility/risk for morning sickness, premature birth, various conditions and the like.
I can highly recommend the book, The Natural Way to Better Babies; Preconceptual Care for Prospective Parents, by Francesca Naish. She is Australia's most esteemed natural fertility advisor and runs the Jocelyn Centre for Natural Fertility Management in Sydney.
Obviously you will have to confirm with your DH that this is the path that you wish to go down first! But no, I don't think that having a baby at 33 or 34 will ruin your life - I think it will add to it! But i don't know what life situation you are in, and only you can make that choice based on your circumstances!!

So sorry to hear you're struggling with anxiety. I don't know much about that but certainly appreciate that you will need to feel you have a strategy in place to deal with it on an ongoing basis before you TTC again.
With respect to your age, certainly fertility levels drop as we age,particularly from 35. However it seems that everyone and their dogs are having bubs post-35, and anyway it doesn't mean you need to rush into it if the circumstances aren't right.

Hun, i am in the same with regards to ttc #2. I had PND with DS and still suffer anxiety which i am medicated for, my anxiety is usually quite ok, however each time I start ttc#2 my anxiety goes through the roof and i panick that much that i end up going back on the pill.
I worry that another bub will totally destroy the great life we have as a family of 3. I wory about PND again and anxiety. I worry about bf not working out again, to the point where i dont even want to try bf. I worry about miscariage and still birth. I worry i will have a child with 'issues' and will regret bringing him/her in to the family that was so perfect.
I have been making myself sick wth wory fo the past 2 days and nights t the point where I am almost ready to give up on the idea of another baby all together.
I dont have advice for you at all, just want to let you know that you are not hte only one feeling l;ike this.
