12 months for us!!

Well, we've been breastfeeding for 12 months and 1 day now!!

It was definitely hard at the start but we persisted and I am so so glad!! I love it, it is so special. DD is still going strong and is no where near weaning. I would like to BF for a minimum of 18 months and hopefully 2 years!!

Thankyou for all your support, it means to world to me.

To my DD, I feel so privileged to be able to do this for you and I have treasured every minute of it. I hope to keep going for as long as you need or want! I love you more than words can describe.

Well done Heaven! Its such a good thing to do for your little one if you can. FWIW, my 11 mo DD has a mild ear infection & the doc has told me to increase breastfeeds and see how she goes (given me a script just in case) - but goes to show the benefits to our babies don't stop at 6 months. :cheer: You're doing such a good job with bubs! - well not so much a bubs anymore!
