My shower is cleanish...but my big issue is the mould that gets behind the silican joins between the basin and the shower screen. No matter how much spray gets put on, it just keeps getting worse. Any suggestions on how to remove/kill the mould?

I need help with this as well!
FG, I think the only thing you can do is take off the silicone, clean and resilicone. It looks disgusting doesn't it? We have it here and am thinking about just stripping it all off. We have white tiles and was thinking of using white silicone instead of clear as may not be able to see it so much when it grows back.
Yep, nothing left for it but to resilicone it! Annoying though!!! But it is a sign that your silicone is no longer doing the job properly and allowing moisture behind it. Good luck!

You are actually meant to seal bathrooms in white silicone... so ask them to re-do it in white.. No more grotty mould!
...oh well, I guess I just add it to the list of things that needs doing :doh:

You will have to re-silicone it. There is a bathroom anti-mould silicone which I have used. So far so good.
Yep, same problem here. Had to strip it back, which is a cow of a job depending on what was originally used.
Clean the mould off with bleach or whatever, and then reapply the correct white, mould resistant silicone with a caulking gun. The "gun" will cost you about $5 and the silicone about $15. Any hardware store will have what you need.
oh gosh! our recently 'renovated' (i use the term loosely lol) we have the clear stuff and mould is already getting through down the bottom. i guess we are off to a trip to the hardware store too....not liking the sound of 'hard work' though rofl!
Well it depends. Sometimes it can peel off in one beautiful strip once you get a blade under it. Or, as in my case, I had to pick and slice it off for an hour or two.
