I'm asking on behalf of a friend...
She's wondering what this could be/mean?
Had cramps the day after unprotected sex, on day 20 of a 28 day cycle. Ovulation was day 14, but really heavy mucous for about 5 days.
She's wondering if this could have anything to do at all with implantation?

Sounds like it to me. Had a friend with a similar thing, had cramps and thought was getting AF, turned out she was pregnant. May be worth her doing a Home Preg Test.
Any other things like tender breasts?
hard to say really. how long are the cycles? cramping could be pre AF too...
that said, i had cramps around DPO 11-12 and onwards and got my BFP on DPO12...
unfortunately these kinds of symptoms are so similar between succesful cycles and AF cycles IYKWIM.
creamy CM is a good one to have too...kinda like moisturiser creamy (Sorry if TMI!!)
