12months! Never thought I'd get this far! :D

DS is one today! YAY!
I can't believe that he is stll breastfeeding! My first two son's were c/s. My milk never came in and I gave up after a few months expressing. Anyway DS#2 was a VBA2C, my milk came in and........... I"M STILL FEEDING HIM! WOHOOOOOO
I can't believe it :) I'm beginning to get some pressure fom family to wean him but I'll just keep avoiding that one. LOL 12 months ago I would have thought that breastfeeding a 1y/o was just a little "to much". Afterall at 1 they can have cows milk! Oh how differently I see it now. Breastfeeding is SO MUCH MORE than just providing food to your child! It is an amazing bond that no-one can take away :)
Just wanted to share!! LOL I'm actually a little teary today... His birth was sauch an amazing experience. Good luck to all those breastfeeding mumma's out there! Enjoy your time feeding. It is prescious ;)

Keep up the great work! It's an amazing journey isnt' it?? We are stoked to still be going after the early weeks/months of some very challenging times initially! Never thought we'd even make it past 3mths at one stage!!! And like you, never thought i'd want to feed past 12mths but here we are..... we don't want to stop!!!! I know DD doesn't either!

I'm hearing ya with the bonding too, not to mention it's sooo much easier to just whip out a boob ><;; It's already prepped and heated to just the right temp ;)
