Hmmmm, can you defrost in the microwave?
I'd still cook them from frozen, I don't think it will hurt? You can cook fish fingers and nuggets from frozen right?
Depending on the size, I'd add maybe 5 or 10ish minutes on. Keep checking them.
BTW, if you can cook them and make it so they aren't watery and soggy, can you please tell me how? I never have any luck with frozen fish!
I've never thawed them first. Just cook for 25minutes at 200-220 degrees, turn over after 12 minutes. I also spray mine with a little bit of oil.
Not sure if you guys are talking about different frozen fillets, but I'm talking about the crumbed ones....
leash i'll be sure to let you know how they go!!
netix not crumbed! eeekkk i worried now!!
Never defrost fish in the mcrowave! It will cook it...
They shouldnt take too long...But if they are not coated in anything, just plain fish fillets, fill the sink with cold water and drop them in . Will take about 10 mons or so depending how big they are.
:)
I've always cooked from frozen, no problem
i always cook from frozen too :)
well they cooked just fine!
i did get worried after the soggy comment leasha so i cooked them on a cake rack over a oven dish incase they got watery, didnt need to!
maybe use the water thing to your advantage and steam them in some foil and herbs etc..
i bought the aldi skinless fillets
I always had the crumbed ones, so i think thats the problem with the ones I had
Silly question, but were there directions on the packet?
yep but they said to thaw first which i thought was weird  they are uncrumbed fillets
