Mine are still in a box somewhere... I really need to do something with them too!
They're in a box right now - but I figure if we haven't looked at it by now, we probably won't ever, and I may well chuck them. Can't bring myself to do it yet though!
BUT we are very nomadic, and face the prospect of an overseas move in the next 10 years, as well as at least one interstate move, so the less "stuff" the better.
There is a place online called Cards For Keeps that will bind them into a book for you.
ours are in a box at the moment - waiting on me being able to afford to buy albums to put them in (and have time to put them in it). i have an album for DD's baby cards - really need to put them in there and free up the box before her birthday! lol
we also have all of the cards from when both of DH's parents passed away, as well as his brother - it's stuff i can't bring myself to get rid of. the was another thread a while ago about similar and one suggestion was to get them bound in little books - maybe see if you can find the thread...
ETA - eluned must have posted as i was typing!
Ooh Eluned that sounds like a great idea!!
Eluned - thanks I'll check it out!
Glad to know I'm not the only one who still hasn't moved them from the box  although we got married Sept 07.... wasn't THAT long ago I guess haha
We are printers and have binding machines hmmmm that might give me an idea.....
Mine are in a box too, but they're in there with place cards, order of reception, menus, thank you examples, ribbons, etc. They go with the album.
Same as Kim - in a box with other wedding keepsakes. They do take up quite a bit of room, but I can't bring myself to get rid of anything - even all the spare menus and place cards with no names on! My nanna kept some decorations from her wedding cake for her whole life, I guess I'm hopelessly sentimental like she was.
I like the idea of binding the cards, or at least putting them in an album.
If you search the other thread I posted a link to photos of a card keeper a friend made. I also have one for DS's baby cards. I am on my iPhone and can't do that (link) on here.
