DD is only 19 months old. Granted she went from two sleeps to one at about 12 months, which is a little early i guess....but shes only 19 months! surely its too early, i thought they kept a day sleep till atleast 2 and a half!
Some days she has one but for about two weeks every other day or two (about three times a week) we do the normal stuff, we have a good routine, but she just wont go to sleep!! i tried for two hours today!

Can be normal. DS dropped his just before he turned 2 - and DD1 went to one day sleep around 10 months I think. She can go without it, if we go out in the car she'll have 10 minutes sleep and decide that is enough for the day - however, I beg to differ.. LOL
Most days she still has 2 hours though. What time are you putting her down? Maybe she just needs a shift in routine? I had to do that recently with DD1.
Unfortunately it can be normal! DD1 was about 20 months when she started dropping hers. I was mortified because I had a 5 week old. I tried my best to keep her napping, even drove her around the block a few times to get her to sleep. What I found in the end was that if she did go to sleep during the day because I simply forced her to, she wouldnt be able to go to sleep until about 1030-11pm. That was rediculous! So she dropped her sleeps. She would almost fall asleep around dinner time every night for quite a few weeks. Sometimes we would let her have a 5 minute nap, most times we would really try and keep her awake. Its a hard stage. Now a year on without any sleep during the day, she goes to bed by 8pm and is asleep within 5 minutes most nights.

DD is 2.5y and she dropped down to 1 sleep a few months ago, there are even days when she won't sleep at all during the day.
Sounds pretty normal.
minimatron...sounds exactly like DD, if she does have her sleep in the day shes up till atleast 9pm! if not then she is alseep by 7.15pm!!!! but is pretty grumpy with out it!
took jer for a huge walk this morning hoping to knock her out,....but no signs of tiredness yet!!
She was going down at 10.30, but just changed that too 11.30...but im not sure now, maybe 12 as its 11.35 already!!
Im pretty sure the only way i stay sain at the moment is that two hours in the afternoon to get stuff done and have a cuppa! i love the day sleeps!!!!

19 months, you're lucky! DD stopped sleeping during the day just before her first birthday :o I remember it well, she actually fell asleep on her 1st birthday and we all thought it was unusual... which would have been because the next day, she was diagnosed with tonsilitis and not a happy girl. But yeah, was a very sleep deprived mummy day and night, don't know how I survived LOL!!!
WOW....before she was 1...i thought 19 months was early! i have to admit im pretty gutted that its coming to an end....shes gone to sleep now and im going to make the absolute most of it as it may well be the last time....doctor phil/oprah here i come :)
It's not abnormal if they do that. But what you might find is that she will go for a few days or a week without a sleep and then the next day she will sleep for 2hrs, and maybe for the next day or so as well. They can be fine without a day sleep every day, but sometimes it can catch up with them and they just need to have a sleep again kwim? Like my DS2, he is 2.5yrs and generally doesn't have a day sleep, but for the last three days he has had one - he is still asleep now. So just play it by ear, if she doesn't sleep, then she doesn't sleep, but if you think she really needs one after a few days, try to make her have one, but if she doesn't thats fine. Another thing you could do is if you do think she is getting overtired, bring her bedtime forward half hr or so and see how she goes.
