Feotal position? I think thats different though isn't it?
Sorry... not much help!
lateral recumbent position? (Google told me so!;))
A good way od checking the effectiveness of a roller bandage on the lower leg is to check the nail for capillary refill. After the bandage is in place a slight squeeze of the big toenail will tell you if it's too tight. If the nail goes pale and then back to pink it's OK and the blood flow isn't contricted. Of course if it's a woman and she is wearing toe nail polish then you're in trouble!
I would call it lateral recumbancy at work. Also to check the bandage you can pinch the toe, or make sure that there isn't swelling in the foot.
check bandage by checking for capillary return, colour, warmth, movement, and sensation to anything lower than the bandage (go for the toes).
alternate names for recovery position; lateral position (left or right dependent on which side they are on). Can't think of a second though!
Clover - yes it is different to feotal position
Coma position?
ooo well done Winter! That was what was registering in my brain but not coming forth!!!!
Lateral is one, can't recall the other. The bandage thing would be by checking for blood flow by squeezing toenail and checking the colour returns under the nail.
