Woke up this morning, to find 3.....THREE little poos on my kitchen bench.....:o....i know...how could i possibly make breakfast in there ever, ever again...anyway, out all day, feeling quite distressed....thinking, hoping it wasnt there and i imagined it. But nope. This arvo come home, and near the sink is another one....UGH !!!!!
MIce ???? Or do ****roaches 'poo' too ???? Is a mouse trap with cheese just too clever for these 'things'????

If you are going to use traps set them along the wall as mice tend to run along the skirting boards. We just used some bread in our traps.

Yep, ****roaches do it too darl, I've found out the hard way. It may not be very eco friendly, but I spray ALL windows and doorframes with surface spray, inside AND outside, every 3 months - I just can't handle the thought of the ****roaches running around.
We live in a fairly rural area, so we get overrun...
Oh no!! i think id die if my house got mice. Its bad enough iv had to fight with spiders, small bugs and now these weird looking fly things. But mice would send me packing! :o
I agree with using a surface spray just incase its ****roaches not mice.

peanut butter works on traps - even the "smart" ones can't get the peanut butter without the trap going off!
we live rurally so mice are an unfortunate part of life here. i seen one about 5 minutes ago, got DH to set the trap (i can't set them for some reason!) and the little sucker is gone now!
i agree with setting them along walls - they rarely cross open spaces unless they have no choice. we had a trap set about 2 inches from the wall and i watched the mouse go back and forth past it several times - moved it against the wall and got the mouse within minutes
it's not that you're dirty hun - if you have fields near you, when the grass is cut, field mice will come inside. when weather changes, they'll head inside. if someone has a grotty shed nearby that they've cleaned up - they come to the nearby houses looking for food. our latest problem has come from the house across the road - was empty for 6 years (no resident, but when she died, all her furniture and stuff was in there) - it became a haven for possums, rats and mice. they've cleaned it up recently so we've copped the fall out! with luck it will be coming to an end now...

nah, can't see you - just know that i can tell what is going on around us by the number of critters we have around the place! the church next door got their lawns mowed on friday and we have killed 3 of the little suckers in 24 hours!
:hug: we had a mouse last week, brave little bugger would pop his head out from under the fridge look at me duck under again, then run partway into the kitchen floor and back under the fridge again :o I was sitting on a stool with my feet up :lol:
I got these plastic mouse traps, they are grey and very simple to set, come in a packet of two, and I put a combination of peanut butter and nutella on the trap and the little bugger was caught by morning :D I made DH dispose of it, as I had set the traps :D
I put one next to the fridge against the wall and one in the pantry on the floor against the wall as well, the fridge trap got him :excited:
I hope we don't get anymore, it reminded me of the mouse plague when I was a child and they would run up your legs and try to get in all the animals feed bins (lived on a farm), eww eww ewww!!!!
