Is there anything I can take for this cough I have? It starts as a tickle in the throat...then my eyes tear up and it turns into a coughing fit. I have had it for about 3 days now and it is interrupting my sleep also. My belly and diaphram are so sore from coughing sooooo much.
I have been taking Strepsils Honey & Lemon but they don't seem to do anyhting atm....

It might be worth consulting with your dr/a pharmacist re what you can take. Codeine can be a very effective cough suppressant but you'd want to check that it's alright during PG.
Marydean - this is how much i rely on BB members....it takes a member to tell me to phone a dr! lol
Just phoned the chemist and I can take Duro-Tuss dry cough mixture or Chesty regular cough mixture!!!!
