HELP! Bleach turned my Bathroom vanity YELLOW!!

Hi ladies!

Well, I am in a pickle! We're moving out of our rental home this weekend and wanting to save a few bucks decided to do our cleaning ourselves rather than hire!

Was just doing the main bathroom and noticed a slight dark stain on the white bathroom vanity which I believe could be from my hair dye at some stage - Was only a very slight stain but I thought I'd be clever and pop some bleach on it - Wiped it all over, bent down to do the bath, came back up to a YELLOW vanity!! ARGH! What am I going to do? It's like a laminate kind of bench top - Just a cheapie but not one I want to pay for out of my bond thankyou!

Please tell me there a miracle worker on here that can help me save this vanity and get it back to white?!

No immediate resolution, but I did the same to our kitchen bench and over probably a week it went back white. We just wiped it down as normal and the yellow disappeared.

Sorry I don't have an instant resoultion for you.

i did it to our kitchen bench.
then used gumption to get it off and that worked
