terms of endearment
(sorry mods if in wrong place)
Hello all;
So I just wanted to share our DD1's new thing at the moment.
'Honey, honey, hon; can you do this please?' 'Honey, (enter any request or statement here).'
Since the beginning of this week DD1 has started calling DH honey! Its so damn cute to hear. First thing in the morning you hear, 'honey can I have a juice?', if she wants anything, or just wants to talk to him, its 'honey'.... Very rarely this week have we heard daddy come out of her mouth when we're at home, out and about it has usually been daddy with the odd slip up.
And today I am no longer mummy, but honey too!
so cute... The only thing is now we call each other mum and dad more often, even when the girls aren't around, and we can't hold the laughter in when she says it!

-
Cheezelmonster- I sure wouldnt be able to hold the laughter in on that one! :)
Pandora, now thats scary!! Im dreading the day they turn around and call me by my name!
-
lol, i had a giggle reading it. I call DP "Bub" so it'd be amusing down the street if DD picks it up
-
hahaha so cute! DD was calling me baby the other day..
-
how gorgeous!
haha sometimes DD#1 will call me wifey like DH does
"Good colouring wifey"! (she's very encouraging!!)
-
LOL! That's adorable!!!
I can't imagine DD calling me any of our terms of endearment. DH calls me baby sometimes and DD told him off for it the other day. "She's NOT a baby". DH had to explain that sometimes he calls me that even though I'm not a baby, just like sometimes he calls her chicken even though she's not a chicken. Dunno that she was sold on it though. ;)

lol that's so cute.
I was going to say the same as Pandora though. If Mummy doesn't work quickly enough I get "Kim!!"
